The Story:
Free Fallin’
Their story began in January 2018 on a cold Winter Games weekend. Let’s just say there was a party that probably *shouldn’t* have been held on Carley’s account (with Max in attendance of course), but without it, they wouldn’t have ever even met.
The night started off strong with Max climbing over the railing upstairs and “jumping” (AKA free falling) off the edge, sticking the landing onto the couch below. Carley must have been really impressed because after the night ended, she ran outside in her bare feet to meet him at his snowmobile just to get his number. They clicked through the chaos that night, and have been inseparable ever since.
The two of them have endured a lot together over the past 5 years and have shared a lot of major life events. They survived two years of long-distance while Carley lived out West in Colorado, adopted 3 dogs (Hermione, Rita, and Peaches) who are the most loyal bunch, and lived in an RV with them for 6 months as they built the house of their dreams on their 3-acre lot.
Today their sights are set on traveling and exploring the world with each other. By September 2023, they will have crossed off 22 states and 6 countries together with many more adventures lined up after marriage.

For your convenience, we have reserved and assigned all of the tents at Under Canvas North Yellowstone and a block of rooms at Sage Lodge from the 7th-11th of September. We have done all the hard work for you -
the stay is on us!
Please do not contact Under Canvas North Yellowstone or Sage Lodge to reserve a room - we are working behind the scenes to place you in accommodations that we think you’ll love.
A concierge from the accommodations you have been assigned will contact you closer to the RSVP deadline AFTER you have RSVP’d. All you have to worry about is getting to Yellowstone. If you decide to fly, Bozeman Airport is about 45-55 minutes away.
